SEBI Grade A Officer Selection Process

  • The selection process will comprise of three-stages as discussed below.
  • Phase I: on-line screening examination consisting of two papers of 100 marks each.
  • Phase II: on-line examination consisting of two papers of 100 marks each).
  • Phase III: Interview
  • The final selection of the candidates will be made on the marks secured by the candidate in Phase II and the interview.

SEBI Grade A Officer Recruitment Exam Pattern For Phase I

SEBI Grade A Exam Pattern For Phase II

SEBI Grade A Phase II will have two papers of 100 marks each. The on-line exam will have two papers of 100 marks each. The SEBI Grade A Phase II Exam will be held on 23rd August, 2020. The pattern of Phase-II is given below

Marking Scheme For SEBI Grade A Officer Recruitment

  • Phase I
  • There shall be negative marking (1/4th of marks assigned to the question) for Paper 2 in Phase II
  • (except IT stream for which details shall be informed in due course).
  • Candidates would need to secure separate cut-off in each paper as mentioned at (iv) above as well as aggregate cut-off marks of 40% in the Phase II exam (weightage of 1/3rd for Paper 1 and 2/3rd for Paper 2) to be shortlisted for Phase III.
  • Phase II
  • There shall be negative marking (1/4th of marks assigned to the question) for Paper 2 in Phase II
  • (except IT stream for which details shall be informed in due course).
  • Candidates would need to secure separate cut-off in each paper as mentioned at (iv) above as well as
  • aggregate cut-off marks of 40% in Phase II exam (weightage of 1/3rd for Paper 1 and 2/3rd for Paper 2)

  • Click on the Apply link given on the page. A registration link will open up in the new window.
  • Click on New Registration in the application window. Then click on the register button.
  • Candidates need to provide personal credentials like name, parents’ name, date of birth, email id, mobile number, etc.
  • Click on the submit button to the completed online registration. All the candidates will be issued Registration ID. Then, log in with the provided Registration ID, date of birth, and password to complete registration for SEBI Grade A 2020.
  • In the next step, Photograph, Signature, Left Thumb Impression, and Handwriting declaration (given below).
  • Handwritten Declaration: “I,(Name of the candidate), hereby declare that all the information submitted by me in the application form is correct, true, and valid. I will present the supporting documents as and when required.”
  • Dimensions For Uploading Photograph, Signature, and Handwritten Declaration
  • Size of file should be between 10kb – 20kb for signature and left thumb.
  • For handwriting declaration size of the file should be 20kb – 50 kb.
  •  After filling up the application form, candidates need to preview the application form once to verify the entire data entered.
  • Click on the Final Submit button after verifying the entire online application form.
  • Kindly Check and College the All Document – Eligibility, ID Proof, Address Details, Basic Details.
  • Kindly Ready Scan Document Related to Recruitment Form – Photo, Sign, ID Proof, Etc.
  • Before Submit, the Application Form Must Check the Preview and All Column Carefully.

  • SEBI Officer Grade A Selection Process: Selection shall be a three-stage process i.e. Phase I (on-line screening examination consisting of two papers of 100 marks each), Phase II (on-line examination consisting of two papers of 100 marks each) and Phase III (Interview).
  • Interview– Candidates who clear Phase I and Phase II will be shortlisted for the interview. The candidate may opt for an interview either in Hindi or English. Weightage of marks obtained in Phase II will be 85%, while marks obtained in the interview shall be given a weightage of 15%. Thus, the final selection will be made on the basis of Phase II and the interview.
